2 tilt column assemblies, tailgate window regulator, head light bezel, timing chain cover, wheel hub covers, 2 quadratrac transfer cases, starters, power steering gear and pump, and a radiator. Just some of the bits and pieces I found in the shed. I'm sure there's more crap to be found but...

Thanks! Diving into the rabbit hole for sure. Finding out that the snowball risk of “while we’re in there” decisions are real! LOL! Thanks! I bet your '78 Cherokee was a memorable Jeep! Will definitely keep this thread going as long as I can or until I run out of money! Hehehe. Still trying to...

2012 Wrangler JK intermittent stalling issue

Definitely can't hurt — especially if the replacement part installed was not Mopar. At the time mine went out, Jeep didn't have the part in stock! I opted for a Delphi Automotive Crankshaft Position Sensor - SS11407 from O'Reilly.

2012 Wrangler JK intermittent stalling issue

I had the same issue on my 2015. Solved the issue by replacing the crank position sensor. Easy diy repair. 😎 Sorry! Just saw you already had that sensor replaced.

Opted to have the tailgate lock rekeyed to the oval key. Would've cost a small fortune to rekey 3 locks to the square key. Tailgate lock is now working! Woohoo! Replaced both door locks with new parts. Had to shorten the lock rod to match the original bits. Removing the clip that secures...

Damn! You just reminded me — I think my dad has a tilt column out in the shed. Gotta take a look. AMC wrote the book on universal parts. I owner a 68 Javelin back in the day — installed front spindles and disc brakes from a 72 Matador. The donor car was a x police car and of course, I swapped...

It's been a while since I disassembled a Jeep steering column. Let's see how this goes. After removing the steering wheel nut, horn cover, horn contact plate and cover, it's time to remove the steering wheel. don't forget to paint or scribe alignment marks on the steering wheel and shaft for...
