Driveshaft clears tranny pan and that's a relief.... links all look good too, plenty of clearance , spent most of the day aligning things up.

I tried to drill out the threads on the Dynatrac adjuster...But it is heat treated chromo , so I had to dermal the treads out with a stone.... also not sure what it's coated with but it is nasty to weld, it boiled yellow and left a white residue. I held my breath as I welded real quick.

Did the lower steering shaft today, improved the angle on the joints.

Front fabrication is done.....getting closer.... Next up is steering , bump stops and brake lines...etc. Built a upper link mount, will finish it once things are lined up.

Worked on the front axle yesterday and today , finished the changes to the trac bar mount, hyd ram, shock mounts, hyd bump pad and built a skid/deflector for the ram.....now I need to build a mount for the upper link. no one makes one for the XD60 and no one wants to.. :shakinghead:

ThatJeepGuy....Yes I'm moving it up some, about 1.75 I think it is. 2.25 dia ram so it should be better. I'm waiting on the Tie Rod mount to see for sure, I made a mount to test fit it. and I will add a deflector plate underneath.

Mock up done...think I have it figured out. lol Cut, grind and weld...

Fuck yea to me !.... LOL. Finished the fabrication on the rear, now just need to adjust shocks build brake lines and other small stuff. next week I start on the front.

OK...my fault LOL, back on track now...

I went to the off road expo in Pomona...got some new idea's and changed things around. Went from a 4" stretch to a 7" stretch. changed location of bump stops....It's been windy so I haven't been able to weld the bumps in but maybe tomorrow morning. fuel filler is an issue now, working on it...

Mounted rear flares and built the rear four link...

Set the new hood on to see what it looks like.....going to work on the axle brackets in a few days... not looking forward to cutting all the bracket off the axles.

Able to work on jeep today.... Passenger side done, now driver side rocker guard and flack jacket armor thing... then glass hood and hinges. after that I can start on the suspension..WHEW !
