    The Winch Thread

I have it sitting in the EVO Quarter Pounder bumper. There was no real drilling needed. There no mount plates to worry about with that setup. Sits perfectly center.

Hello Wayalife brain trust, A friend of mine is just getting back into the Jeep lifestyle, having gone one a run, I know he has a good rig and is a good driver. He is tired of watching the youtube videos and wants to do it himself. So I thought maybe I could help him out, but I am all out of...

Run: Lakes Basin Rec. Area - 7/23/16 - Plumas National Forest, California

Official Post Run of the Unofficial Lakes Basin Recreation Area Run - Continued After successfully getting through the finger between the trees, we started getting into some very loose shale and rock, culminating in a very difficult winch setup. I finally got a chance to use my 66 foot tow...

Ladies and Gentlemen, Let's get out this Saturday and enjoy one of the most beautiful trails in Northern California, if not the nation. I have experience as a hiker in this area and just this last weekend, did a little bit of scouting. Here is a shot I took showing a view of Gold Lake from the...

2016 WAYALIFE Rockin Rubicon Run Photo Highlights

I had the most amazing time, for many personal reasons, but for the biggest reason of being able to drive the Rubicon Trail with only 1-2 months of off-roading experience. It was really a credit to the planning that Eddie and Cindy conducted prior to the run as well as the hard work from the...

Fire Extinguishers....where and how is yours mounted?

Actually, I can very easily reach in and get the rear mounted Fire Bottle with the rear doors open, no need to open the rear tire carrier and gate. I made sure that the Drake mount was situated with the pull pin towards the front of the vehicle. I can access these from multiple reaches, not just...

Fire Extinguishers....where and how is yours mounted?

I went with the Drake holders, which are perfect. I have Haylon on the left and dry chemical on the right. Word of caution, do not rely on velcro or a drawstring to secure these heavy objects. Imagine that these WILL become a projectile in the event of a collision, right at head level.

    Evo Mini liner

Here is a side shot: The backspacing on the ATX Slabs is 3.5 inches, but also those are on 2.5 inch spacers to match the axle width of the Dynatrac XD60 rear. Hope this info helps

    Evo Mini liner

At the turn signal they are 9.5 inches wide. Not very wide, really. And try not to let this thread stray too much off topic, would ya?
