Locker Newbie - Looking for some "Words of Wisdom" on wheeling with lockers ...

Exactly! When you have the front locked you have to plan ahead so you have enough space to unlock and unload the locker so you can steer. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

Truetrac vs Elocker Rear Diff - Thoughts

Wondering what your input is on using a Truetrac in lieu of a locker on the rear Diff. Northeast snow and ice for driving to and from off-roading I like the Truetrac. I am using it now on my d44 rear. Seems to dig well on the rocks and trails. But switching to an XD60 and leaning toward another...

If this, then that. Broke this, now what?

This is always a good idea. An old racers trick is to dab a blob of Permatex blue at the edge of a bolt head or nut to secure it and note that you tightened it. Easy to see and it holds the bolt or nut in place damn well.

Currie Tie Rod - Rock Hard Steering Damper Fitting

I smashed the hell out of my Currie tie rod U-bolt steering damper attachment fitting and looking at the Rock Hard fitting with the 1/2 inch stud. What steering damper do you all use? Any of these make a difference? Drilling out the stock damper doesn't seem to be an option.

    PR44 Diff Cover Removal

Changing the lube on my PR44. I watched Eddies instructions on this and his tie rod seems to have way more clearance than mine. I don't have a high steer. Do I need to remove the steering stabilizer, drop the tie rod bolt on the driver side and swing the tie rod out to get clearance? Or will the...

Fixing a Bent Jeep Renegade Trailhawk Rear Control Arm

I'm curious to see what the frequency of bent control arms might be. From the pics it looks to be vulnerable. Maybe a thicker chrome moly piece will be in order some time in the near future for those who play on the trails.

Eddie, Are you using wheel spacers on Mobby?

Eddie, Are you using wheel spacers on Moby? Probably misspelled everything, and if you've noted this on a previous thread, sorry! The videos seem to have your wheels and tires way out. If this is due to the pr 60 and 80, ok. But if you are pushing these out for the articulation what size are...

    ATX756 Slab Threaded Inserts

Anybody ever have to replace the threaded inserts on the Slabs? One of mine was delivered missing an insert. I cannot get any response out of ATX whatsoever. All I want do is purchase one for the wheel and a few extra. The vender I purchased the wheels from has no idea what I'm talking about...

    Cycling the Front Suspension

If there is a previous thread for this I apologize, couldn't find it. What is the best way to cycle the front suspension to check the bump stops, shock length, spring compression, drag link and track bar articulation, tire clearance, etc.? Any precautions or safety issues? Thanks, coop

    Dynatrac ProRock 44 or G2 Core 44?

I read the recent thread on the ProRock 44 with interest. Lots of knowledgeable input. I will be switching to 37s soon and want to prepare, so I'm looking to upgrade to a D44 front axle assembly for my 2015 JKU Sport. Is there more positive experience with the ProRock 44 than the G2 Core 44? One...

ATX Slabs AX756 - Off Road Only?

I know this probably has come up before, but the ATX web site says the AX756 slabs are off road only. EVO's web site says highway and off road, good for daily drivers. Does this mean the wheel isn't DOT approved? I want to switch to rim locks and this appears to be a recommended wheel by a...

    Data bus

Has anybody ever tried to intercept the JK data bus to display oil temp, Trans temp, oil pressure, etc, and written about it? I would like to do this without buying an expensive programmer like theTrailDash. But maybe that's my best option? Coop
