About the only thing Fire dozer operators are good at is being crazy. No one said they're good at driving them....haha. Most operators, especially CAL-Fire have very limited experience and training on how to operate them. They're given a couple week Dozer academy and then sent out.

Same thing happened in the Cajon pass years ago. CHP stopped traffic and left motorists with no where to go so they left their vehicles on the freeway and walked up. Had they just let them pass none of it would have happened.

This is probably why they cost so much to have a shop do it. If I had nothing else going on I may have attempted mine myself but it doesn't look fun at all. Glad you got it all sorted out. I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised how it feels. I know after 5:13's on 37's it was great.

Got my replacement u-bolts yesterday. Nice to not have to use a tie down to hold my carrier closed. I'll need more in about 6 years. They seem to last about 3 years....haha.

I didn't realize the Bronco Raptor came with a turbo V6. I assumed it had the 5.7l the pickup had. That being said the fenders completely kill it for me. I do like the sasquatch edition. However if I had $100k to burn I'd buy a 4x4 sprinter van and have it converted into a mobile coffee shop...
