The BFG's must have changed over the years then. I used to have a set of 35 BFG's MT on an old 92 Tacome that I did a straight axle swap on and they balanced easy and road really well. Perhaps their quality control has fallen apart bigtime. I know they are crazy popular so this is good info to know.

I'm not really a ducker. Somebody did leave me a Trump Duck on my Jeep once which I thought was pretty cool. Usually when somebody puts a duck on my Jeep ( usually at Walmart ) I give it to my wife who gives them to our nieces and nephews.

Starter kill switch is not a bad idea. Could just pull the relay also. Glad your friend got his jeep back not totally destroyed.

No way did I ever think anybody would be worried on here. Maybe that came out the wrong way Eddie but if for some reason things were to change I'd post up about my thoughts at that point. They have done as well so far. Actually I like them better than my Ridge Grapplers on the Tundra.

I've got almost 30k on this set and the balance is spot on no matter the speed. All 4 are wearing great and have done well on all types of terrain. Sand, mud, rocks. Satisfied so far. Don't worry though I will let y'all know if that changes.

Generally people think they need one in the event they are in an accident and crush the winch or wires and they short out. Drive like you own a jeep and not a teenager with a hotrod and you'll be fine. Oh and wire it correctly.

Same with my wife's JL. Want to throw my 35's on it and go to 37's on my JT which she is all for except my mother in law is 82 and struggles to get in at stock height.
