This is still true ^ The 35" Xtreme package is equipped with 4.56 gears by default, with the option of bumping up (or I suppose down lol) to 4.88.

I keep a jump box in mine for such an occasion... But yeah get it tested and if it's good I recommend reinstalling both terminals without those colored anti-corrosion felt washers.

The negative terminal is really crappy on the JK. Has happened countless times to me where it seems the Jeep has absolutely no power. Looks fine to me but try to wiggle the negative terminal around or remove and reinstall making sure the conical nut closer to the end is tight on the clamp. I've...
