"maybe" is a far cry from "need" and just because you've been sold on the idea that you want one, doesn't mean it's needed. If you say so, it must be true.

If it were really so necessary, you would think that winch companies would sell their winches with one. Been running winches on all my Jeeps for over 25 years and it was only until social media became a thing that cut off switches became a thing. Just something to think about.

More than likely, it was just part of an assembly piece that was intended to be disposed of after whatever it was a part of was installed. I've literally found specialized tools left in one of my Jeeps and a good friend found an assembly panic stop button in his LOL

Ride quality is 100% subjective and I personally prefer a firmer ride so I may not be the best person to be asking this question. Me personally, I prefer EVO Plush Ride coils paired up with the EVO spec Kings but having run their Bilstein's, I would do that again too. But again, that's just me.

If the shape of the mounting holes were all that mattered, there would be no need for torque specs. You could just make due by using a stover and or red loctite and call it a day. Proper torque spec is critical to properly hold suspension and steering components in place.

Before you spend any money on anything, how much air are your running in you’re tires?

Depends on the springs and what shocks you have them paired with. Again, are you unhappy with your current ride and if so, what don’t you like about it? Too firm? Too soft?
