    Best Home Adds and Fixtures

Not that I'm aware of. I've personally never seen a fitting fail on one of our jobs... But I'm not a plumber... thats just from the point of view as a general and seeing the project to the end... with zero call backs for bad fittings. Only issue we have ever had was on one Job in 2017...

Expansion is supposed to have better flow... crimp gets smaller at the Joints. Expansion lets you get in tighter spaces and its a stronger connection. Our Plumber uses Expansion Uponor Pex-A... most use it around here. That's what I'll be using on my addition.

    Power Tools

Been Building Homes for 25 years.. Not having cords or air hoses is awesome. When we can.. we use batteries powered tools. All trades have made the shift. But we almost always have power onsite.. in the rare case we dont.. we have a gas generator.

    Show Off Your Guns!

Some reviews on the HD P4 Series 80 & Glock Mag were Meh.. I definitely want to shoot one though. It's now the only 4" 1911 9mm optic, Double stack available in CA... Personally I just want a 4" Commander Single stack optic ready 9mm 1911 like the new TRP... but apparently thats too much to ask.

What was done to your rig this week?

Different story Good or Bad? I wouldn't say I got a deal... it was still $450 after Tax.. but if I get 6 or 7 years out of it.. I'm fine with that.

What was done to your rig this week?

New Battery... Found a great battery store near me that sells mostly Optima & Odyssey... The Last Odyssey Extreme didn't die but had 6 years on it... I asked them to run a test on the old one just for curiosity and it showed it was still ok but half the crank power... I think 6 years is good and...

    Power Tools

We all run M18 Red at Work... except the saws... our guys have gravitated towards the dual Battery Makita Saw. I'm not a fan of the expensive 12.0 M18 batteries... so I think its a good idea... but sucks having to have a different charger just for the saw. We still all have the corded Skilsaw...

YEA or NAY : Computer Controlled Electronic Jeep Components

What Jeeep said... The JK is about as much Tech as I want in a Vehicle. I want simple & reliable... and I want a drivetrain that can take some abuse without too much fancy electronics hooked to it.

    Cordless Tools Thread

I had the 9.0 batteries... they both failed after a year.... wouldn't charge. Stepped down to the 6.0... no issues.

    Cordless Tools Thread

Thats exactly what I did... work great.. 1 for the blower, one for the weed weedwhacker... I got the quick-lok hedge trimmer attachment too. My XC6.0 batteries have been going strong for a couple years now.
