The older I get, the better I like Kid Rock. This dude is hanging with absolute big wigs and acts like his house is still on wheels. Grounded, pretty cool.

Started working on the sliders this week. Mapped the Jeep out before I tore everything down in November and recently started putting it to metal. The design is similar to what I used on the JK and I was happy with how it worked. I bent up a sample piece and like the way it looks so I cut the...

Sounds like a very fun time. Anxious to hear back what you use the super low for.

So is the 3.8 the lowest in the set? Is this going to require new drivelines?

Finished welding the third link bracket for the axle. When it cools I’ll drill the holes from the template I made from the dimensions I got from Dynatrac. Hope the axle is swinging by the weekend.

Farming season is upon us so not much time to spend on the Jeep, but finally got the engine skid done. I anchored it to the rear of the engine mounts. I used a piece of solid 2 in long and threaded it to the M10 of the bolts that hung down about an inch. I threaded the other side to 3/8 which is...

We didn’t make it down there last year because of the birth of our grandson. Made it the two years prior and it had noticeably changed.

Enjoying your posts of Moab, I hope to own a piece of it someday. It looks like you’re having fun. Is it crowded? My son saw Nate heading East today driving his Toyota following a couple of JLs on a trailer. Kinda jealous. Have fun.

Super cool. The OG VanHalen fans had a struggle with the VanHagar thing, me included, but let it go. Everything is cool, give it time.

I’ve never had one go bad on a solid axle, but my wife’s H2 drove like shit when they went bad and never had any feedback in the wheel. I just went back several pages, looks like you’ve been fighting this awhile. Do you have balancing beads?

What did you end up with for the caster angle? Curios also as to the joint angle at the axle. .

Making tapes to have better tapes. Lived that, loved that. I remember when CDs came out as an aftermarket deck for cars, you had to park to listen to them because they skipped when you were driving. More Human, and Dragula definitely had the potential to get you a speedy ticket.

Music - What are you listening to?

Very powerful band in the early 80s, probably my favorite in high school. Rock of Ages, Foolin, Let it Go were great. Might have to go back and have a visit soon. They aren’t rock god status in my book but still making music. Very cool. Started listening to Long Long Way To Go about a year ago...

    Starting small….

Steve Henjum owns Final Drive there in Spokane. I’ve known him many years and although I’ve never needed him to work on my stuff, I’d trust him.

The shortening of the bed is complete, and im trying to get the flares fitted now. I loved the look of these fenders in pictures. When lying on the floor they look great. Heavy duty, well constructed, good packaging. But for some reason, I also wanted them to fit. Not so much. I hope I’ve gotten...

    First time to Moab

I’m assuming you’ll do Delicate? We were there and it was about 200 degrees. Or 86 because there was snow at home. Not sure but that’s also a must when hiking in Moab.

These guys are more 80’s than most of the bands then.
