I was thinking this too. Totally different but on my JK the light would show out when the heat sensor/shield blew out. Maybe the aftermarket has something built in that went out/loose with the bombing. Still wouldn’t explain everything else though. Bizarre and hopefully you find a fix!

I was too nervous to F with the fuse box. I used Eddie’s write up for 95% but I went through the wheel well/fender removal to access the aux battery. Cost me a bag of fender clips, but was pretty easy.

I I just picked up the crown blackberry not too long ago. Haven’t cracked it open, but is supposed to be good. I’ve heard blackberry lemonade is good.

As others have posted, mine is on the rear roll bar. Being I have a soft top, access isn’t as inconvenient if it were to be hard top. On my JK I was able to squeeze one next to driver seat, but like you’ve noted, space is too tight there now. Would be nice to have one in main cabin.

I have three of them at home and installed one at our place in Santa Cruz where our daughter lives. No issues. If you can do solar, that’s been great. A couple of ours are underneath patios, still good.
