    My Side Piece

Took the wife and my side piece to Stoney Lonesome park yesterday and had a blast. She doesn’t really care for the rock crawling, but seemed to have a good time yesterday. She rode half the day in my buddy’s razor, but won’t hold that against her!! 🤪 I’m happy to report the spring keeper I...

What's the skinny on RCV front axles

I’ve had mine for about 2.5 years and have put them through the paces offroad around the country. I have no complaints about functionality, but hate the grease slinging everywhere. Maybe it’s my fault because I do grease them religiously. I think where they excel is at full turn in 4wheel...

    My Side Piece

My side piece has the JK lean and has been bothering me for a while, so I decided to fix it. After measuring all 4 corners and testing with a jack, I decided to install a 1” spacer above the rear passenger spring. Here are the A/F and A/L measurements. the measurements show 1/4” lean on...

Random Internet Shit you've come across

I work with a guy who used to work in a couple solar power plants out west - the ones with all the mirrors focusing the sun light on one central tower. He said they would send a crew around routinely to dispose of the dead birds so the regulators wouldn’t see them.

Do I need a track bar relocation bracket??

You don’t have to change your track bar height and can leave it as is if you are happy with the way the Jeep drives. If you have bump steer and want to improve the way it handles, then you would need to raise the track bar AND do a drag link flip to keep the drag link and track bar angles the...

    My Side Piece

I took the side piece to a local Offroad park called Hawks Pride in Tuscumbia, AL last weekend and really bang d up the OEM gas tank skid, so I installed a new 3/16” gas tank skid plate over the OEM skid plate. Went on easier than I expected. Also found my front driver side spring rotated...

    EVO sway bar end links

Some people prefer to order a kit instead of sourcing parts individually. I offered a cheaper viable option. I personally don’t like the heim joints and prefer the sealed rod ends, but that’s just me though. These links have been on my Jeep for about 2.5 years and have had no issues. Trips...

    EVO sway bar end links

So the $9 rod end EVO supplies is worth the extra $50. Or if you like spending additional money, you could order the $6 rod ends from Synergy for $15 and get a name brand logo on the bag.

    EVO sway bar end links

I took his comment about the threads sliding a 1/2” in to mean the threads have pulled and damaged the female threads. This along with the seized joints would be enough for me to order new parts. The EVO end links are overpriced in my opinion so I offered a cheaper, but solid option.

Personally I would order a set of Raptor Series sway bar links off Amazon and replace the EVO links. I’ve got them on the front and rear and very happy...

    The build of Balder

I had to replace all of the rubber brake lines on my 05 F250 in the last few years. I think the rubber lines have a finite service life, at which time they shit the bed!
