Man the sierras never disappoint, especially loon lake! When we got there, there was some cloud cover… but it blew out before dark! We hung out had dinner and checked things out. Went to sleep around 9pm with an alarm set for 1am. We saw lots of shooting stars, I wasn’t lucky enough to catch...

Wife and I found this small family owned coffee company a few years back. We get all our coffee from them now. Nice people and really quick shipping, unless of course we’re in the area. Then we swing in to say hello.

Break lines are pretty soft and can be bent with thumb pressure. That’s bent so tight you likely won’t get a bending tool onto that. The key is to slowly work it back.

I really enjoy being away from civilization. Plus the kid is staying at grandma and grandpa’s house tonight, so it’s just me and the wife!

With the motor running hooked up, up front it’s fine. I’m gonna try the rear outlet again once it’s cold. The hard wire kit is going in the wrangler 😜. This jeep doesn’t go on many of the adventures.

Well I’m finding the fridge doesn’t like the outlet in the very back of the compass. To much voltage drop, it’s fine with the keyed outlet up front though. Hopefully the rear one can just maintain one’s it’s cold. Or I just start it up every couple of hours. I mean it’s only an overnight trip...

So this morning the wife told me she booked a room in angels camp on Sunday , so we have better viewing going into Monday. I changed our plans. We’re gonna camp next to loon lake to view.

This maybe what happens, but we’ll see how it looks first with the new axle. The diff cover may have enough silver to tie it in.

I’ll have to get used to the silver with all the black stuff under the Jeep.

Just ordered a synergy tie rod. Had a buddy that stopped by last night, he has one on his jeep. So it was nice to see one in person first.

Gonna try and get it installed in the Jeep this weekend.
