Hmm... I decided to driveway flex the rear to see how much my rear sway bar is limiting me...I'm not cool enough for the stacked tire test... but I found... the shocks and bump stops are in fact limiting my flex... should I remove them first? :crazyeyes:

As others have said, drop down brackets work as they are described. assuming that is the direction you would rather go. I prefer 1 bolt tying my control arm to the frame, and 1 bolt trying my control arm to the axle. but that's just me

You can snag a 12-ton Harbor Freight press for around $120 that will get the job done. I've also done it with a bottle jack and some Jerry rigging once, but I would NOT recommend that... the press is well worth the money so long as you have room for it.

for what its worth... I have set the weight of the jeep on LODs skid plate paired with the signature series shorty front bumper while wheeling more than once.... and had the jeep sitting on just the roller fair lead on one occasion... here is what it looks like since the last time out wheeling...

31,000 miles - DynaTrac Upgrade On Friday, Granite_Head and I pulled apart the front of my jeep for something new. First thing first was to get the old OUT. ;) Then Press on new main bearings, because... why not :blush: Here is the only side by side shot I got of my stock 44 housing...

I just watched it for the, idk... 1000th time yesterday! :thumb:

Here's mine (sorry for the crummy pic, my lens is broken on my phone) it doesn't seem nearly as bad. I have rear pinion 1 deg shy of the driveline Per JE Reel spec
