KC Flex ERA 3 LED Lights A-Pillar Installation on a JL Wrangler / JT Gladiator

I wasn’t using any Aux switches at the time I installed my Flex Era 3s. I wired one wire ea to the two 15a switches. If I recall correctly aux 1 was the backlight and aux 3 was the main spotlight.

20th Anniversary Jeep Wrangler Rubicon - ONLY 4000 Will be Made

Pretty underwhelmed for the price tag and glad I didn’t wait on it before ordering my ‘23 392 XR. I do like the grille, but not enough to have any regrets.

VIDEO : DECKED OUT Jeep Gladiator Truck Bed Drawer Storage System Installation

My 2¢ on the Decked system…..I’ve had mine about 3 years and specifically for work, keeping my Paintless dent repair tools organized it been fine. Other than that specific purpose I don’t like it that much. I think if it was taking up 4-5” of less height maybe it would be better, I think if...

Adding OEM Aux switches? Good / Bad?

I installed them for a friend and while the install was extensive and tedious, I did it in about 4 hours. Theres a step where you de-pin a connector and add a wire or two. After all was said and done we turned it on with a Flashcal. Hooked up a KC light bar to one of the switches to start.

    Broken Door Check Nut.

Nah not at all, it’s only the third time I’ve had them off. The first three doors/bolts came right out no problem. Maybe they’re not off enough is the problem and the threads had a hint of corrosion. no cross threading or anything either.

    Broken Door Check Nut.

After a Google search, it appears it has happened to some others. In one case, a nutsert is exactly what the dealership did to repair it.

    Broken Door Check Nut.

I would imagine so, but I don’t really want all the layers of the pillar dismantled for that If it can be avoided…..Unless I’m missing something, I’d think that’s a pretty intense tear down for a vehicle that has no structural damage. I’m going to remove some of the trim inside of the pillar...

    Broken Door Check Nut.

Tonight I took the doors off to enjoy the weather and evening out with some friends. While taking the left rear door off the welded nut INSIDE the B-pillar broke away from the door jamb and fell down in the pillar, it’s gone. I can only imagine the surgery to the pillar necessary to repair...

I have a bunch of left over parts and electronics from when I traded in my ‘17 Rubicon a couple years ago. My son has been driving full time in ’13 2dr for a few months now. One of the left over components is an 8” Alpine subwoofer with a mounting bracket designed specifically for under the...

Just because this is a forum doesn’t mean it’s not a business or a business opportunity. My guess is that many that start a forum born out of the love of a hobby would love to see it flourish into something bigger. As far as I’m concerned it’s your right to do whatever the hell you want with...

Manufacturers should take a lesson from Decked

Hmmm, with the exception of the dividers which use little o-rings on the tabs to hold them in place, none of my accessories “snap” into place. Maybe they‘ve addressed the tray since I’ve purchased mine.
