Jdofmemi and the yet unnamed Jeep rebuild

I don’t know if your axles have unit bearings, but if they do, that might be your issue. Recall the issues I had last rubicon trip. I thought it was wheel sensors but it turned out to be worn unit bearings.

    What is Art?

I don’t mean to defend the graffiti in any way, but one could equally ask, what is history? A lot of “ghost towns” and similar sites (e.g., abandoned mines) are just structures, equipment, and other stuff abandoned in place because it was too much trouble or too expensive to remove them and...

    Hazards of Exploring Alone

In a situation like this, stay with your vehicle. It’s a lot easier for SAR people to find a vehicle in the environment than it is to find people. Plus, if you got there in a vehicle, chances are good someone else will be along in their vehicle.

    Prorock 44 drag link flip?

That’s because the ram goes on the tie rod not the drag link. 😂

    Prorock 44 drag link flip?

Keep in mind the Rancho knuckles raise the tie rod up 1.5 inches. When I went with the ranchos I had to cut my hydro tabs off and raise them up. I’m running a synergy weld on mount. I don’t know how the evo looks but you might have the same issue.

    Rear Drive Shaft Advice

As I recall I just torqued the nut to 160 ft-lbs and called it a day. That worked fine for maybe a year and then I regeared.

Best half door and soft upper option?

I live in SoCal so soaking rain is a once a year event. Sounds like you’re used to it and have it handled. The OE half doors and uppers leak a bit, but not buckets.

    Show me your beadlocks

ATX Chamber Pro II’s. They came “raw” and were shiny, but I had them powder coated (wheels black, rings gun metal). I think this wheel has been discontinued. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE

Bubba can explain himself, but I would speculate that the profit margin on V8 swaps and other shop work is a lot higher than a highly competitive and time consuming mail order parts business. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE

Best half door and soft upper option?

I agonized over this for a couple of years. Had some bestop elements doors for a while. Looked at rugged ridge and came close to picking up a set. Finally decided I wanted OE doors and wouldn’t be happy with something else. I found a used set locally. They came with power locks, uppers, and...
