Got the front of the jeep up on jack stands doing a bleeding process for power steering. Checked fluid level. It was a little low, above the minimum mark but not full. What I did notice when I started the engine watching the flow in the reservoir, it was almost cycloning. Waiting for the wife...

I’m gonna do a bleeding process right now. Even at idle it’s super easy to turn.

I’ll check that out! I did the recommended flush for install and run swepco in it. It’s one finger steering when driving. Wouldn’t the steering get stiffer if it wasn’t getting enough flow?

It’s the big bore box.

Just the steering box. It’s worked so well haven’t seen a need to add the ram. Everything else is stock still.

I am you know I thought about that also. Haven’t fully checked, but the steering box has been in since may of 2022. I would’ve thought it would show up much sooner. This all started in July.

I haven’t checked the tapered holes, but there isn’t any play I’ve checked with engine running and with it off. I’ve inspected the frame where track bar and control arms mount. All bushings are new, checked torque on all front end bolts. I’m going to keep looking through because this is driving...

That’s the setup I ran in my 65 Chevy for a passenger seat. Coupled with a ratchet strap, it worked well 🤣

Waiting for it to cool down the check the steering shaft between firewall and steering box. I really hope it’s not in the PSC box!

My battle with the front end of the jeep continues. There are so many new parts now and if they aren’t brand new they have between 8000-10000 miles. On flat roads it drives amazingly even bumpy straight always does great, but if I hit a bump in a turn… it’s done. Have to bring it to a dead stop...

Outside of needing to center my steering wheel, the jeep drove great this evening. Of course I picked probably the two hottest days of the year to work on it, but I glad it’s in. Tomorrow I’ll do a decent test drive.
