Your friends 2015 JK is running hot climbing hills on highway, what causes do you suspect?

At what temperature is reached that it will start to mess things up and there is no return? I see 206 when idling around and then 231 sometimes when on HWY. What's the point I should never let it get to? And don't they make an update on the thermostat to kick in the fan sooner?

    38 inch tires with 4.88 or 5.13 ?

Def 5.13's. I have 4.88's and running 38's on my JT and it hunts on slight hills on HWY so 38's should dial in perfect with 5.13's. Next tire size I'm goign to go down to 37's.

    38s on a Dana 35?!

If it works for you and you are aware of what can break then just wheel it with some good recovery gear and friends that can get you off the trail. If you are easy on it, it'll last longer than you think. My $.02.

    Low lift / big tires

I have 4.88's on 38's and truer words haven't been spoken, you need 5.13's. It isn't the shifting when taking off or any of that, just the RPM band it is in on the highway causes it to shift more than I would like. I wish I'd went 37's and will do so next tire swap.

    Low lift / big tires

I have a 3.5" lift on my Gladiator and running 38's. I don't think a 2.5" lift with 38's would be comfortable, I'd stick to 37's. Here's a pic of Gladiator with lift and 38's if it helps.

I've found Genesis to have really good support so I've emailed this thread hoping they have a fix. If I hear back I'll update this thread. Thank you.

I have the genesis set to *auto* right now. Curious, what did you replace it with?

Any known parasitic draws on 2020 Gladiator?

I have replaced the factory batteries with the Genesis offroad dual battery system along with Oddessey batteries. Love this setup but now that I can monitor voltage on both batteries with the led screen I'm noticing a pretty huge parasitic draw on *both* batteries. The cranking battery is the...

Gladiator going to get one of the Hurricane engines?

I think when Ford drops the Ranger Raptor with a 393-400hp twin turbo v6 coupled with a 10speed for 2024 it is going to force them to do something.

    GMRS Licensing?

If you just want to buy a Baofeng radio, $40, and just turn it on that requires no programming, this is the one I recommend. However, I would *still* get the gmrs antenna I list below because the one in the box is too small and doesn't work. https://amzn.to/3x7XKgk If you want to buy a...

Something Happening with Jeep at the Chicago Auto Show 2023

Hoping for Gladiator with V8. But if they pull this all electric hybrid crap out of the hat I'm going to barf. Because there is NO WAY they've been working on an electric jeep / hybrid for 20 years. No way. It better be something cool.

He breaks down how to get the license here: https://www.notarubicon.com/how-to-get-a-gmrs-license-easy-guide-to-gmrs-licensing-on-the-fcc-website/ You supposedly don't need to call out your callsign before transmitting except on a GMRS repeater (that's what I heard, I have not read any rules...
