    JK Sport Dana 30 axle

I have a '13 JK Sport and want to go up to 35" tires. I normally run 6-7 rated trails, nothing extreme. I'm on a 'tight budget' and want to know if it's worth regearing the 30 front axle or if I should really put in a 44? I plan to keep the Sport transfer case which will probably limit me on the...

Are you happy with the JL on 35's with 4.10 gearing?

Looking to buy a 2020 JL and wondering if 35" tires work well with the 4.10 gearing. Not planning on doing really hard core trails. Also trying for good gas mileage. Maybe 1 or 2 trips on the Rubicon would be by far the hardest run.

JL vs Cheap new 2018 JK

Went to the dealer the other day to look for a new 2020 JL. He has 3, 2018 brand new JK's for sale at $10,999 off MSRP. Are the new JL's worth the extra money or should I consider a cheaper new JK?

Looking at adding this to my JK and was wondering about quality and any rusting issues. Price seems very reasonable.

Recommend re-gearing for 35" tires for JK Sport

I have a '13 JK Sport with 33" A/T tires and am thinking of going up to 35" A/T tires (probably BFG KO2's). Since I have to drive a minimum of 200 miles to go off roading, gas mileage is becoming more important. What would be a good gear ratio to up-grade too for the best gas mileage and also...

3rd time replacing tie rod ends

I normally drive on washboard roads with my sway bar disconnected in two wheel drive. I do a little rock crawling but nothing major. So I was wondering if it would help my tie rod ends last longer if I DID NOT disconnect my sway bar? I'm only running 33" A/T tires with a 3.5" lift.

    Good Basic Tool Kit

I'm not much of a mechanic so what would be a good basic tool kit to carry in my jeep for minor trail repairs?

    JK Airbag Recall

I've got a '13 JK that has an airbag recall on the passenger side. Does anyone know if the dealer has to pull out the whole dash to fix it?

Flat Tire - Replace one or two

Recently got a flat tire and have a very old spare. Can I get by with one new tire or do I need 2 new tires for the same axle. Have about 20,000 miles on tires (A/T) but my current tire design is no longer available.

Tire pressure death valley washboard roads

I have a '13 2 door wrangler sport with 33'' tires I run at 35 psi on the highway, 20-25psi off roading. Last year off roading on washboards in DV (Death Valley) with the sway bars disconnected was a nightmare. Looking for suggests on how to make the ride smoother this year - recommended tire...

BFG KO2 tire question D or E rated

I drive 95% of time on the highway. However, the hardest trail I do is the rubicon and death valley (sharp rocks in places) once every other year. D would probably give me a better ride but I don't want to get a flat so would it be safer to run the E's?

    BFG KO2 tire question

This question pertains to my JL Rubicon on order. It is my understanding that the weight of a tire really effects how fast axle parts wear out. If this is true would I get the same amount of wear and tear on the following tires; BFG KO2, 315 75R 16, 68lbs. width 10.2", height 34.5", rated E...

    Base price of JL Rubicon

A dealer told me today the base price for a new JL Rubicon (2 Door) will start at $42,000. That would be $8,355 over a current 2018 Rubicon JK. For those of you who have seen a new JL in person do you think the new model is really worth that much extra? And if so why?

13 Jk Sport upgrade to Dana 44 front axle

Does it make since to up grade to a Dana 44 axle and keep my sport transfer case? Hardest trail I would take would be the Rubicon maybe once every other year. Really don't want to put in a used rubicon transfer case and new ones don't seem to be available.

    When to use 4x4 drive

I normally keep my jeep in 2wd until I need to switch to 4h and then again 4l. Is this a good way to use 4wd or when I get on the dirt should I be in 4h etc.... Trying to put the least amount of stress on the drivelines and axles.

JK Sport - For us non heavy duty rock crawlers - 44 dana front upgrade

I have a '13 sport with 33" tires, 3.5" lift and a rear locker. I'm thinking of putting a Dana 44 in the front but keeping the sport transfer case. I'm doing a little more rock crawling every year but don't expect to do the hard core stuff. Probably won't even do the Rubicon. But would like...

Magnetic Trail Skins and Body Armor

Was wondering if anyone has used these. I have heard they do work for the pin striping but if you get dirt, dust, mud between them and the paint and they move they can damage the paint. Also they shouldn't be left on for more than 24 hours. In other words, are these worth the money and effort?

2013 jk stock bumper with high lift jack on tow hooks

Does anyone know if you can lift one side of a stock '13 JK stock -FRONT- bumper on the tow hooks without bending them with a high lift jack? I would be putting a D-ring on the tow hook which is bent 180 degrees.
