My Ueber Slow Jeep TJ Build

I recently purchased and installed a Swag Off-road rear bumper for my TJ as well as the frame tie ins. Very smooth install, fit was perfect and I'm very happy with the look of the bumper. I want to upgrade to grade 8 hardware on the rear bumper. Also my eBay led reverse lights died so I'm...

My Ueber Slow Jeep TJ Build

I bought a Rough Country 50" single row light bar for my Jeep and got it installed yesterday. The install was really simple. It comes with a plug and play wiring harness with a fuse and relay. I'm really happy with the light output, and I can't wait to use it off road.

My Ueber Slow Jeep TJ Build

I finally had some time to remove my old lights and install the new military led lights! I only have one photo but I'll post some more soon. I had to relocate my license plate during this whole process.

Led tail lights arrived! They are military lights made by Grote with blackout lights. I saw similar lights on Evo TJ in the 2014 SEMA pics and also Evolander and chose to go this route. I'm going to paint the lights black to match my Jeep a little better. Got the lights prepped for paint and...

My Ueber Slow Jeep TJ Build

I recently got a set of led Rigid foolies for around $30. I'm using them for reverse lights because I ordered a set of tail lights without the built in reverse light. The install was simple, I just wired the new lights in with the oem reverse lights. They are really bright!

    EVO parts for Jeep TJ

I noticed that there was a post on Instagram about some new EVO parts that will fit the TJ. I was wondering if there was an ETA on when they would be released and what kinds of new parts the TJ owners will be able to buy? I'm interested to see if there will be a Quarter Pounder style bumper that...

DynoMax UltraFlo muffler and turndown bolted on. I really like the sound and I haven't been able to smell any fumes since it dumps before the rear axle. I kept the stock tailpipe so I'll put that on if I do begin smelling fumes.

    Jeep TJ Hazards Not Working

So I need an inspection this month and I figured out that my hazard lights don't work correctly. When I turn the hazard lights on only the front left signal functions. I have led turn signals up front with the led flasher. Has anyone else had this problem with their TJ and found a way to fix it?

I've been working at one of my local Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealers for the past month. One of the things I've learned is how to clean the throttle bodies in the Jeep Grand Cherokees (One of the parts of a Level 4 service). I picked up a throttle body gasket and some brake clean and cleaned the...

My Ueber Slow Jeep TJ Build

Here's a few updates on my Jeep. It was making a weird grinding sound when I started it. I was able to put the Jeep up on a lift at work and with the help of one of the auto techs I was able to replace the starter. It sounds a lot better now! I finally lost my antenna out in the woods so I...

My Ueber Slow Jeep TJ Build

Today I used Eddie's write up and made some quick disconnects for my Jeep! I had to use 3" clevis pins because the store was out of 2.5", but it still works fine. I did use three washers to make everything a little tighter. This seems fine to me, but I will be keeping my eyes open for any signs...

My trip to Maine was a blast! I'm very happy with how my Jeep performs! I stayed right near Moosehead Lake on a small pond. There are many dirt roads in the area that I was able to take my Jeep on. Smaller trails the are not maintained branch off of the dirt roads. These trails were a lot of...

My Ueber Slow Jeep TJ Build

Here's a current photo. I haven't done anything lately, mostly enjoying the bigger tires and the warmer weather. I'm leaving for Maine this weekend so I'm going to look for some easy dirt trails to take my Jeep on!

I mounted a fire extinguisher to my roll bar using some zip-ties. For safety reasons I didn't want it mounted up high on the roll bar. It is still in an accessible spot, but if I get into a car accident the fire extinguisher shouldn't become a projectile.
