Highly recommend watching blackstone Betty. She swears by using onions to help season the griddle and I have to agree. After doing a full onion on my already seasoned griddle it has gotten so much better

Totally agree. They shouldn’t draw ANY power unless in use. If it’s drawing power then there is an internal malfunction with the winch and I would get it replaced, hopefully under warranty
