Went up Rancheria Road the other day for a relaxing time. The road was still closed 8 miles before the 155 but since Bakersfield is brown most of the year, it was nice to see green hills and a few wild flowers blooming. Nothing major, just a nice relaxing drive.

I am planning on going to Hungry Valley OHV area in Gorman, CA to check it out. I have never been there before but so far two buddies are going with me with their Jeeps. Its open to whoever wants to go, so let me know. Planning on meeting around 0900 hours, and just hanging out until whenever.

I got off the trail today, (just a cruise on a dirt road) and the sound of metal hitting metal could be heard from the rear passenger area. I got under and saw this.... So now I have to figure out how to fix it because I am a noob at all this stuff. Any advice would be great.

OK so I am hearing a squeeking noise coming from the back of my JK when I go over bumps and dips at slow speeds. I think its the rear drivers side because I push down on the rear and I hear it. I have been looking for a decent bike rack for the JK. Anybody have any recommendations on a decent bike rack? I'll need to hold up to 3 or 4 bikes and I have a 33inch spare on the back... Any suggestions and pictures would be great. Thanks!

I am wanting to plan a one day excursion up Rancheria Road once it opens up. I know there are some side trails you can take along the road as well. Anybody interested? I am not sure when the road will open up all the way to Lake Isabella but I am hoping it will be soon.

We also had some Honey while we were up there. I can see what the rage is all about now. All in all, it was an awesome trip. I love it up there, and I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to get away and relax a little. Also, I wish I can add more pics per post, so if anyone can...
