    Portable welder?

During EJS this year, we ran into this. They didn't have even a complete set of tools, let alone know how they would make it off the trail. I pulled out some steel that I carry, some tools and at least carry some rod and a pair of jumper cables. We got busy and another guy brought up a wire...

    DIY Spod- Waytekwire

use the appropriate seals for the gauge of wire your using and they will be water tight! I also sourced some red and black overs go go over my 8ga wire for "PO's" and "neg" connections to the buss. That way nothing will touch and arc.

A few months ago I ran a section of trail I had done several times in my Red JK. Same suspension but on Duke I am still running the factory rear Driveline. I hadn't put a relocation kit on the Evaporate can yet. Little did I know how much flex the rear was actually getting. Bent the "skid...

In the process of bending the flipped rod, the buckle bolts moved up and out and tore my Rubi SB disco connector at the motor. $1200 for a new one and another $150 for the wire harness wasn't going to happen so an EVO quick disco was put back in its place

A big shout out to Sharkey for the removable shelf idea. Finally got mine finished and installed. The table came in a few weeks ago. Everything fits nicely in its place And there is even room on top for a cooler and my trail liquids bag. I left just enough room so when "top less" weather...

Finally had some time today to get the step sliders mounted. So far, I like that the step is there. I'll run these for awhile. At some point, I will weld the EVO's on with the rock skins though. I just have that uneasy feeling of body damage with these.

Thank you Rock Hard and Wayalife for the opportunity! After my last JKUR was stolen last July (it had a sport cage installed), I am in the process of rebuilding. I would love to put one in my new build earlier than expected!

Well, I started out planning on installing EVO Rock skins. I've already drilled and put the nutzerts in. Then I had EVO Rock sliders to weld on. I kind of changed my mind and decided for the next year or so I would run Rock Slide Eng. step sliders. They took my EVO skins and drilled a custom...

it turned out ok. I even mocked up a new license plate holder that will sit above my roto-pax mount. Third brake light, lic plate light and backup camera above the lic plate. I've got everything wired up to include extra backup/dust lights on top of my rear fascia too. Off to powder coat...

With the drivers top hinge drilled and tightened in place and the passenger two hinges drilled and tightened in place, I'm off a little. I haven't drilled the driver bottom yet. I'm thinking I'm going to oblong the passenger holes on the skins over so my hinge hole will line up. Thoughts?

Sorry, I didn't see this sooner. Work has kept me busy this year. Ya, that 3/8 roto cut set is the one I have. It works great. I drill a 1/8" pilot hole once I get the skins where I want them. Then that pilot is the centering hole for the roto cut drill. I just put my rear skins on this...
