    3.6 or 2.0?

Looking at a 2dr JL for the wife. Went down a few old threads. Had to endure a lot of BlueRubicon posts. Forgot how much of a douche that guy was. Anyway, we’re leaning towards the 3.6 with the etorque instead of the 2.0T. Anyone have any further experience good or bad with the etorque on...

I'm going to do it! Don't try to talk me out of it.

The jeep employees trying to get me to test drive the grand wagoneer were aggressive. Guy was all “what, you don’t want to experience the chair giving you a back massage?!”

Thanks for sharing this content. This place looks cool. I haven’t reviewed the whole thread, so apologies if this is a duplicate post, but I do feel compelled to comment:

    Lifted shocks or relocation brackets?

Yea, @Ben Reddekopp, there are more solid ways to go about this, as others have said. But if I was handed this and told to do the absolute bare minimum so that I can drive on the street, and occasional fire roads, I would at least add two square 1/4” plates and weld the piss out of em. See...

Good wheeling and some excellent jeeps last week… This guy had rolled. Looked good, considering. LS sounded amazing… Nothing says ‘crunch’ like dragging the bronco raptor up the trail… Smoked a tire outside of grand junction…looks like it had a cut on the inside of the...

    Moab EJS 2024

Yea I have one buddy who always takes his homemade one. Just leaves it at the camp site. It seems pretty convenient. And yea the cost is painful. Also, I’d rather pay the manufacturer than pay Jeep, haha.

What did you think of these? The rep was saying they got picked up by jeep and you can order them factory as an option. I think it was like 20K or something with the tent on top… I’ve never been into this concept, but I wouldn’t say no to one of these if I won it…

37 Cooper STT Pros on ATX Slabs balance issues

@Daniel Partida , that’s pretty cool you have the ability to do this yourself. My 37” Coopers balanced ok per the shop that did the work…maybe you just got a difficult batch…Good luck getting it figured out.

MOAB EJS 2024 Concept Jeeps - Let Us Know what you Think!

I think so too. Would like to see slightly more tub / body modification, just for the sake of being a new concept… The low downs rear door handle delete and embossed tail gate are cool. But overall I like those two.

MOAB EJS 2024 Concept Jeeps - Let Us Know what you Think!

Not exactly on topic, but I see Stellantis laid off 400 engineers last week. They say it’s due to making way for electric vehicles. Don’t know if that means there’s added costs coming up or they no longer need mechanical engineers or what… Saw some employees say that Stellantis is just...

    Belt Tensioner Assembly

Definitely go for it. Tensioner is 2 bolts. All you have to remove is the air intake to get to it. Then, idler pulleys are like 12 bucks at the auto store. Can remember if you have to pull the alternator bracket to get to them.

    Belt Tensioner Assembly

I waited too long to decide and ended out going omix because I didn’t want to wait for shipping on the mopar. Omix seems sturdy enough. Would have liked to support a non-China country of origin, but I needed the part now, so…guess ya can’t win em all. Glad the rattling is gone. Shit sounded...

    Belt Tensioner Assembly

Swapped out the old. Bushings definitely loose, worn. Pulley is loose, noisy, doesn’t spin very long. What surprised me most was how much more resistance the new spring has. Was shocked at how worn the old spring was…
