the same techniques proven to be faulty because of the actual complex variables of weather?
sure, ok..
everything can always be worse, but they love to state anything climate as some sort of fact to keep the money rolling in.

hopefully but not likely, they're too far into is and $57M for a project like this is nothing; sadly, some private group will pony up.

You're probably right about them being too far along but at least they won't be able to use tax payer funds to make it happen.
