This just popped up on my news feed. Sounds like the investment in EV isn't paying off like the Biden administration promised.
"Stellantis, Jeep's parent company, has canceled the planned Gladiator 4xe plug-in hybrid pickup, citing waning demand for electrified pickups and a shift in market strategy. The company will instead prioritize internal combustion engines, including a newly confirmed Hemi V8-powered Gladiator Rubicon 392 using the same 6.4-liter engine found in the Wrangler Rubicon 392."
