VIDEO : Tracking Down Noise on a ProRock 80 Axle and what it Took to Fix It

In addition to the broken air line, from what I could guess, looked like the carrier shims were flipped flopped when it was put back in causing it to have insane backlash. The carrier had so much slop before pulling it out.
That would explain the pinion riding so shallow. What a mess.
It was almost like they just gave up and slapped everything back in

I loath air lockers. It seemed every 2-3 weekend trips, I would be replacing the seals in my old Xterra if I wanted the rear locker to be reliable.
I don't know, with the exception of this ProRock 80 problem, I can't say that I've ever had problems with the ARBs I've run on my Jeeps. Sure, I've had air line issues in the past but ever since I started using stainless steel braided lines, they've been working great and still do.

Happy to see Moby up and running again! Awesome work as always Disciple!! 👍👍
Thanks! Been way too long.
Seeing Moby on Carnage Canyon BV, Colorado was awesome memories. Cindy drove amazingly well that day.

Also the guys at Disciple were great on camera. Hope to see them at KOH in 2026!!!
LOL - that was a hell of a fun day for sure! That trip is still my favorite and mainly for all the cool peeps that went on it (y)

Man that shop who did the original work really screwed things up, but glad Jeremy and Chad could get you right. Nice work on the video too gents. Definitely good to see Moby back in the mix and looking fwd to seeing him on the trail again!
