When were there a few years ago, we couldn’t get a parking spot at the top and rolled down the other side and parked in one of the small lots down there along the cliff. While eating lunch, these guys came up and gave us a show.

The scenery in Glacier NP was incredible. I could literally stand out there all day and just stare at it. If you have never visited this park you should. I recommend you drive in from the east side and exit on the west side. There are several reasons for this but IMHO that will give you the best experience. This has been a ‘recon’ for future visits where we intend to spend more time in the area. Maybe in a month or so.

The beer here is good. The Heffe is pretty darn good for the US. The Heffe in Germany is still superior, some places it’s been brewed since 1040 AD using the same yeast. This place is really good for the US. When you walk in and hear the Brew Meister speaking with a Bavarian accent there is a chance he knows what he is doing.
There is a nice little ‘Biergarten’.
