Just saying hi! Haven't been online at Wayalife much the last few years, so thought I'd check in. I was out of the Jeep life for a few years, 2015-2021 I believe, so about 6 years, then bought a JK that I never really liked much, so got rid if it to something more practical, then finally found the YJ I have now. In all the Jeeps I've had since '99, this YJ is the first one I've ever owned outright, without a car payment. It's a project (drivable, thankfully), but it's all mine and I can break it if I want to, and still have transportation in the driveway. :ROFLMAO:
Anyway, thought I'd check in and say howdy.

What happened to the military sections of the forum? No doubt there are still a lot of current and former military here, but doesn’t look like a visual presence anymore. No biggie, all Jeepers are great Jeepers. Just curious.
 
Welcome back. Agreed with Andy5160 on Charlston SC. Love that place. Especially the shrimp and grits at the Boat House. That place can just take my money.

Funny you mention shrimp. There was a recent study of local restaurants advertising "local fresh caught shrimp" on their menus. 40 places. Only 4 were found to serve local shrimp. The rest were bringing in frozen shrimp from who knows where. :ROFLMAO:🍤
The shrimp boat fleet here is shrinking fast. Some companies have only one boat left.
