Someone just tried to assassinate Trump

Make no mistake, the power structure cares first and foremost about maintaining order and their power. Billons have been spent on this. There is a plan to save the important people- and you ain’t one of them! It’s called COOP.

Not causing public panic is more important to them than warning you. You are only a resource to feed the machine. Even a large part of the Fed-Gov will be left on the ‘outside’.

To be clear, I am NO FAN of the OBBB and not just because of all the crazy spending. What I am a BIG FAN of is DOGE and what Elon was trying to do with it. That said and to be fair, the orange man bad ran on things like closing the border, tax cuts, rebuilding our military - not "balancing the budget". DOGE and cutting out waste was all Elon during the election and I would be the first to say that his ideas spoke to me but this isn't his presidency. So, to that, I can't say that I'm pissed about anything - not even shocked. Disappointed for sure but then like a good friend of mine always says, "the enemy of good is perfect". There's nothing perfect about what the orange man bad is and or has been doing since getting elected but I would argue there is quite a bit of good and it's a lot more than I've seen in a very long time. If the future of America is really so important to Elon, none of what he's doing now is helping nor will it help in the future. I think he could have still been critical of the GOP and the OBBB but him going off the deep end kinda gets me thinking there's something else going on - maybe something personal. But then, that's just me.
Yeah but he ran on draining the swamp too. Twice.

I'm totally with you. I just think that the orange man bad is trying to do what he can while he can. Part of why he's trying so hard to push this OBBB is because more than likely, there won't be another chance in the future. And really, a big part of me hopes it dies. Before going off the deep end, Elon still had some influence. Now, he's got none and I can't see how that helps anything.

I should note, one of the things I really hated about the bill was that our only GOP senator in Nevada tacked on a last minute amendment that would have sold off thousands of acers of BLM land. Worse, the money would have gone straight to the treasury and without Nevada seeing a dime of it. It really was mind blowing but fortunately, it got stripped out of the bill.

Wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

“White House insiders told the Caller Musk had been over-asking and trying to act like a second president. He was being told no a lot, something that caused him to become increasingly irritable over time.

Some of those big asks were for specific leaders at the IRS, CIA, and perhaps most notably, NASA. Days before the public implosion, Trump withdrew the nomination of Jared Isaacman, a Musk ally, to run the agency. Sources told the Caller that was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

One big SNAFU.
