Exactly. Amazingly not every culture is the same nor has the same values as we do. Not everyone wants democracy and we need to stop wasting our treasure and lives attempting to make other countries do what we think is correct.
During the very beginning of Iraq invasion I had an Iraqi man ask me how long we would be in Iraq. I told him the predetermined response which was: “Only long enough to establish stability “. He looked at me and said: “You can never leave, if you leave another dictator will come.” It’s pretty sad when they admit they cannot handle self-determination- but that’s not our fucking problem and no American should die because they cannot get their own house in order.
Recently some Progressive was complaining about “little Afghan girls not be able to go to school”. Ask yourself if you are willing to sacrifice the lives of your sons, nephews, or grandsons so some Afghan girl can go to school. Fuck that. We need to mind our own business. Let’s protect our borders, develop our own economy, educate ourselves, be healthy, and build an unbeatable military. Let’s be so bad-ass that nobody will fuck with us. That’s NOT isolationism.
