The 1/4 drivers arent bad but they are only ~150or so ft pounds. I'd expect them to struggle with larger fasteners Plus over time they will bend or shatter the 1/4 bits.
 
I have that same driver and use the shit out of it as a screw installer. I'm siding my garage & shed next week and plan on using it to screw the siding down. These things can take a beating. I used it a few years back to install all the wire holders for our electric fence and it did it on one charge. I always find a use for this thing

Having said that, these will work fine on small nuts & bolts but really you need a 1/2" impact for working on the Jeep.

This ^^ I’ve used it almost exclusively to build my house. Only thing I’ve used a drill for is my hole saws. I had the older model that I replaced with this one about three months into building because it was dying but it was old.

The M18 brushless fuel drill/impact driver is also very nice. More bulky but lots of torque settings to avoid overdriving fasteners. I use both tools, but for somewhat different purposes. I have not used either on the Jeep yet.

I am impressed that the 1/4" impact is able to drive screws into aluminum gutter without causing any harm.

Yeah, this was to replace my 1/4 that broke. Used the crap my old one around the house and little jeep stuff. This was to replace my old one and get my foot in the door. Figured it was a pretty good deal with how inch the batteries are.
