Funny thing was earlier in the day. A friend and I were basically shitting on Blanton’s. Going on about how hyped up it is and just cause it’s in a dumb shaped bottle and has a horse on the cap it’s about double the price of what it should be etc etc.
Few hours later I’m grocery shopping and see two bottles on the shelf and call my friend. We laugh and he asks me to buy one for him as I was buying the other.

I completely agree... I think that original Blanton's is the least flavorful of all the hyped Buffalo Trace allocated whiskeys... however, I will buy one every time I see it for a decent price; you just can't beat the look of the bottle and I always have friends looking for some!
