French owned, Portuguese driven, Stellantis is killing Jeep etc...

Please tell them I want a Gladiator Hemi, with half-doors. Thanks!
Yeah, keep dreaming they won't give us that much :ROFLMAO:

Why'd they do that? I thought electric ones were the shiznit.
Couldn't tell ya. All our Stellantis rep could tell us was that it is a result of the orange man dropping the EV mandate. I can't help but wonder if it's just another false promise though to boost morale in the dealers - sales were tanking even with the V8s and for that reason it's really Stellantis itself being at the helm that I'm worried about.

All them poor fuckers that bought last call editions are going to be pissed 🤣
Lol seriously. Or all the Inline 6 2025 Ram 1500 and RHO buyers... The TRX is coming back too 😂

🤣 I do think the inline 6 in a Jeep would be cool

Kinda pray they bring back gas engines to Europe..(but at what price and which engines). They only sell the e-junk mall crawler here, very few wranglers, no diesel, no gas much less an affordable V8... ('cept for switzerland). Holding on to my 2.8 diesel for now but if i run into a major problem things might get complicated and expensive!!!

Can you import a vehicle from another country easily over there or is it a pain?

if Russia invades, gas engines will be popular overnight again.

Its a PITA ... I would have to buy it stateside, (drive it around so its not considered a pure import) and then ship it over. (And still get mauled by the taxman for pollution, certification and licence duties)... or ... I can import it drive it as a US vehicle (normally for 6 months max) but have a mega insurance premium and still have to sorta certify it at some point....

What if the Jeep identifies as an illegal immigrant?

Hopefully it will be easier when Russia takes over.

Because of what I do and have done for the better part of 25 years, I would typically get emails from Stellantis informing me about events that are coming up. And, I have to say I was surprised to see none come in and this late in the year. Anyway, I went to their website just now to see what I've been missing and this is what I saw.

So much for 2025 🤪

If I didn't say it before, I will say it now. Jeep was going down the toilet before Lee Iacocca took over Chrysler and turned things around. It can happen again but it would require someone like him to do it. Certainly, this headless woke EV bunch ain't gonna do it.
Yup. Leadership has been the demise of Jeep as of late. They are boring lately and showing zero innovation. Sad.

Agreed. All the best engineers like Jim Repp, the ones responsible for making the Wrangler Rubicon possible have all retired or left Jeep. Even guys like Mark Allen, the one responsible for awesome true concept vehicles such as the Might FC and Nukizer have gone as well. And I gotta say, they all left for a reason.
