The power of animals and rotational grazing is pretty amazing. I had to mow yesterday because the grass was getting too long and thick and my animals can’t keep up with it.

Before and after a mow

What it looked like a year and a half ago. Didn’t do anything to it other than run animals through and mow over the thick stuff that they didn’t eat.

I love my exmark. The crap I have put it through over the past year and a half has sold me for life. I have the commercial model though.
My dad started on this one and ran it i think 9 years. Went up to a larger one for 6 or so years with almost zero issues. He sold me on them seeing how little he's had to do. I have just under an acre so this is perfect for me. I hope to have the same luck he did.

Dang that's a beast. Makes my little John Deer look pitiful.
I've been using something similar for a while. My brother I law has a d140 (I think) that we both used and it has been alot of upkeep since hes had it a good number of years. Good financing and got a discount working for 911 so I pulled the trigger. One cut in and not looking back.

If you have acreage and don't put the money into a commercial grade mower you're just throwing money away. I bought a commercial JD zero turn a few years ago after dealing with a belly mower on my 'big' tractor for years & what a difference. Shoulda done it years ago. Cut mow time to 2 hours tops vs most of the day. They're loud AF but worth it.

If I rip my at full speed I swear it eats a gallon of gas in about five minutes. But it flys.
