I went looking for a Jack Daniels 12 year over the past few days, and the mark-up on them is ridiculous. Today I went across the river to Arizona and I saw one for $600! The same place had a twice barreled for $500. Both had dust on them lol. These shop owners are insane charging more than triple msrp.

I was looking for the new 15 year release over the weekend and was told that stores are going to sell them in a lottery and of course, the markup will astronomically high.

If there's a Total Wine near you, maybe making friends with someone there would be a good idea. They can at least let you know when they get them in. I'm fortunate enough to have a few different ways to get one, but not everyone does.

Lol, that’s where I was. Unfortunately I don’t have one near me but when I visit my son, we go to the one by his house. That’s where I can get the Russian River beer too. I do frequent my local “liquor barn” but not enough to be “on the list.”

“Beam me up Scotty” while this was definitely a whiskey encouraged buy and I know I spent way too much but I was able to get my hands on one of 200 bottle made of The captains Table whiskey from Star Trek wines. Haven’t tried it yet but hope too soon.
