American Adventure Lab Spare Tire Mount for ARB Twin Compressor

Anyone running this mount location for their compressor? Love it? Hate it? I probably should have asked before I hit the order button this morning but the noise from running the compressor inside the Jeep finally caught up with me today.

AAL Air Compressor Mount

Holy hell, $400 just to mount up a compressor?
Not just a mount, one that is out of the way and I won’t hear. Also, do not forget the add-on stuff to make your camera work still and a connection for your hose… good news though. They do give a discount for first responders. 15% off when it is that expensive is a pretty nice cut to make me feel slightly better. :ROFLMAO:

LOL - I guess. Glad I've never felt a need for a twin, even on my Gladiator running 42" tires.

I unfortunately started with a twin on my last Jeep and I could not downsize to a single when I got a new one. I may have been looking at their new brushless motor ones that just posted for sale finally. Might wait a bit to see if there are any issues before spending for another compressor.

I should note, the new brushless single puts out about as much air as the old school twin. Just a thought.
Just got their email this week they are on sale now. I think that might be lower on the list for me now.

I have a twin now, and I must say it’s meh. Was expecting a lot more out of it having run singles for years. Maybe when i have some money burning a hole in my pocket I’ll check out the brushless but not sure I’d ever recommend the twin over the single either, and the cost increase and space it takes up just makes it’s just ok with the rate my tires inflate

I am not. I was in my last one which might have been why I went with twin the first time. I use the stock lockers in the Rubicon now.
I've been running a twin ARB underhood for a couple of years now, no issues
If I could run Wayalife's underhood/firewall mount I would have but it does not fit with the longarm setup.

This is similar setup with mount to what I have (not my Jeep):

There's just something about a nice set of twins in your hands though..........

I'm with Overlander on this one, thing looks retarded. $400 is wild (whether you paid full price or not they want $400 for it) and I don't know about mounting my spare to a compressor mount either. Nor do you need a twin. I literally rock an $80 Harbor Freight compressor and without issues for 5 years.

I had a portable smittybilt for years that worked fine until someone stole it from my Jeep. Got an onboard system after that. I did have an airlocker install too at the time.
