I've done a lot of desert trails in west Texas and New Mexico, my first 4wd was a '85 Ram with a 4" Rancho lift and shocks, lite engine mods, 33" BFGoodrich All Terrain tires.... But I've always wanted a Jeep and now that I have a family to consider as well the Cherokee seemed like a really good choice.
