I am the second youngest of 7 kids in my family. My parents and 3 oldest siblings lived in Artesia, CA for a time where my father worked at Disneyland for Walt Disney. They later moved to Milwaukee where the rest of us were born and raised. My father found work as a welder at American Motors where he would retire from nearly 30 years later. When he retired, we moved to north western WI which is where I learned my love of the outdoors.

In 1989, I married Pam, the love of my life. We have 3 wonderful children - Nicole, Matthew, and Erica. We now live in Savage, MN which is a small suburb south of Minneapolis, MN.
