2026 NEW YEAR KICK OFF RUN

I went on a NY run with yall in 2015 when my JKU was stock. I’d like to go again. It’s Renay. The Jeep is a little bigger and I’m a lot smaller.

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

**LAST UPDATE FOR 2025** I feel a bit embarrassed, but I am going to update those interested about my Jeep fix that didn't fix. I am fortunate as the reason why the CEL came back on was 1. The misfire code must not have been cleared after the new injectors were put in and 2. The new code P0113...

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

Thank you everyone again for the original help that worked part time. I’ll update again when there is a fix. I’m sure there are others who need assistance with their Jeeps. :)

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

I put in a new spark plug and coil pack when the issue first started. Intake manifold was checked and those gaskets are only 11 months old as they were out in last Nov when the oil filter housing was replaced. Looked at it again last month after putting in new plug and coil pack in #4

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

Compression test was done after PCV valve change didn’t fix the issue and it passed. I’m thinking the code was never cleared also. 500 miles is quite a bit of miles of driving so I was shocked when the light came on. Yeah, I’m not thrilled to ignore the light (the person has a Jeep and does his...

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

**UPDATE*** I put over 500 miles in the Jeep after getting the issue resolved and last week the CEL came on. I used JSCAN to see any codes and lo and behold, P0304 came up again. All six of fuel injectors were replaced so it’s unlikely a bad injector. I think the code is somehow stuck...

DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE - Do You Give Straight 10s?

I'm done giving out perfect scores if they are not deserved. I don't always get the reviews I think I deserve every review quarter. There are some dealerships that are shady in that they won't send out a review. I visited a dealership last month and they never sent a review at all. As a matter...

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

Like I said. I’m no mechanic but I get a lot from this page so I thought I would contribute an ending to my story and pass on info. Enough people used JL injectors in JKs successfully that I was willing to try. Thank you for reading my update.

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

The JKU seemed to have more pep when starting after being at a red light. I put in a bottle of Lucas fuel injector cleaner and used mid grade gas after the repair. My girl is 11 years old and I'll need more time to see if idle smooths out. I have low expectations for skyrocketing MPG because I...

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

Thank you and you are welcome. I get alot from this forum and maybe may or may not have known about JL injectors fitting JKs. . I was "two weeks ago" old when I found out about 8 port injectors.

Not my image but the injector on the right with 8 ports is a JL injector.

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

I expected to pay the bill on pick up since they put in all of the fuel injectors. They could have waited 30 minutes for me to drive and come back but they didn't even call me the next morning at 8am which is when they open. Very nice and I got complimented for being able to change sparkplugs...

How Much Money Should I Be Willing to Pay to fix my 2014 Jeep

***UPDATE*** - Since I take alot from the forum, I wanted to report back and perhaps help someone else. THANK YOU for all of the suggestions. The Jeep is fixed. I got tired of throwing parts at it even though these were "fixes" for the #4 misfire and excessive fuel consumption, so I took it to...
