Thanks for the write up. Mel had to cut the rear bracket completely off on ours. Just a heads up for anyone considering their sliders and rear long arm for the JT. Both brackets sits in the exact same spot. So your going to lose the rear mount for the sliders.
You can of course fab up and weld...
Hey, that’s great and I hope you all have a blast over the next few years. If I’m ever TDY out that way I’ll be sure to try to let you know.
Again congrats!
@ewrrod My oil temp isn’t as high as yours after doing a Dakota Customs swap. Granted it’s a 392 and doesn’t put out as much heat. I usually don’t let it climb past 260-265.
However, I did reach out to them for a parts list a while back to run an oil filter relocation kit with oil cooler. Hope...
It’s funny because I’ve seen both company’s fail a few times on social media. What’s truly hilarious, they never tell what brand it was when it breaks.
If you’re really trying to go that route with your jeep. You really need to get axles first since they will always be the limiting factor. Especially if your trying to wheel as hard as your hinting at. Hell Eddie already killed a D60 lol.
lol “no boxes or parts were hurt in the making of this video”. Awesome video as always, for sure convinced me to get a set over Reid’s on the wife’s rig. Even though I am a fan of their orange.
Good to know, I never thought of the increased benefits of having a long shaft 😂. But in all seriousness it’s the crush sleeve that I’m hesitant about.
