IFS doesn’t stay as solidly planted through “frame twister” type obstacles as solid axles do. IFS doesn’t seem to hold up as well to trail abuse. If Jeep converts the Wrangler to IFS, you can count on portals becoming even more popular.
With that many electrical issues, it’s either loose battery posts, loose chassis ground, a failing battery, failing alternator, or a combination of any of the above.
Battery and alternator tests are not reliable at finding bad batteries or alternators.
