I posted about this knife a couple years ago probably. I was worried that it was too delicate for the likes of me. I’ve been carrying it now for maybe two years every day and it’s actually been a really good knife. Holds an edge well and other the a small chip in the wood, it’s been durable as well.

It’s definitely a commitment, but so rewarding at the end! I’ve done a couple of or trips , but mostly highlights. The editing process is fun and interesting as well. Keep at it! You’re inspiring me to start trying it out again!

This comes to mind when I think about most sports

I didn’t even know it was football season. I only heard about it because someone on the lakebed had mentioned it.

There were a couple times the wind picked up and it got pretty bad, fortunately neither lasted too long.

The dog wasn’t really thrilled about the dust goggles I got from him.

Great time down at hammers this year!! Need to go through my photos still. I spent a little more than I was planning. The wife picked out a set of PRP enduro daily suspension seats for the jeep, got a new set of harnesses and stop by the advanced adapters booth, order a 4 speed atlas case also.

Update: it dried out a lot faster then I thought it would down there 🤣 only two dust storms though. Here’s how the dust was managed 🤣

I made a tomahawk out of an old hammer head. I like it.

With the recent rain and snow it should be fine. Last year though muddy at times, no dust! 🤣

Before the rain started I tested out my new flagpole. Hopefully it’ll make finding camp a little easier at hammers

Back down in thermal for a horse show for the kid. She got to do a couple rounds yesterday. Unfortunately we got a call very early this morning and her pony went lame. After X-rays that came back clean. She likely has an abscess in her hoof. It’s a bummer the kid doesn’t get to do her first show...

Cut this tree down from next to my house. Saving the trunk to mill and make shelves for the house.

Looking good!! Can’t wait to be back out in Utah.
