Love it there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!On our way up to Salt Lake City. Decided the only thing you see on the interstate is interstate. I’m always up for a drive through Sedona.

Not that bad but it’s early. Slide Rock was starting to fill up.To many tourists for me![]()
Sorry to hear about your friend. Kudos for making time to spend with him. Looks like a good haul on essentials from Costco! When we originally planned this trip it was structured on doing some site-seeing along I-80 and arriving in Salt Lake City to participate in an event.
Unfortunately an old friend who lives in Payson recently informed me that he is not long for this world. That news changed our travel plans and we departed early and took I-40 across so we could visit him. We spent a couple days there and being so close to Scottsdale, we swung down to see family.
Usually I avoid the location of birth- especially in the summer. The Phoenix metro area is WAY too hot and has changed in ways I don’t enjoy.
We took my 83-yo mom to the Scottsdale Costco for supplies and picked up a couple of things for ourselves.
Full disclosure- my Mom claimed the Tequila and the Angel’s Envy.
