ALL in the Name of SAVING the PLANET

Combine this with the newest minimum wage bull crap they will hopefully self implode. Hotel and airline workers I think are scheduled to go up to like 38 dollars an hour in LA! Should help alleviate the unaffordable housing situation.OK found the article it’s 30 an hour but they’re mandating healthcare subsidy as well.
$30/hour after 3 years. I really don't have a problem with this. How can Californians be able to afford to put gas in their car unless they make at least $30 an hour? It is not like they have enough time to buy the gas in a state with affordable gas and make it back in time for work!

If they have a dog, then they need to pay someone $18/hour to walk the dog for them!

There is an extensive list of fees and taxes to pay for!

Keep it real.

Genius level deduction skills at work by the village idiot

Maybe they could lower fees and taxes instead Bob?

We need someone with your extreme mental skills to move to California and set them straight.

Until that happens, outrageous seeming pay rates are necessary on order to serve those who still remain in California.

really??
or... they're looking to increase the tax base, and this is how they gaslight the sheep into thinking they're about to hit it big so they continue to vote for the same shit that never...never changes anything.

They always come to the reality of "out of touch with reality wages" when they are no further ahead with the job losses, increased taxes and costs that follow.

LA to pay that much to housekeeping services ahead of their Olympics, wonder how much those rooms will be and who will be able to afford them and add subsidized health insurance? who pays the cost?

It's a socialist state gaslighting the people.

What the people should be paying attention to is why are their elected officials giving so much to illegals.

In the end, they could live on that $10/hr if the politicians and bureaucrats didn't have their heads up their ideology ass that makes the cost of doing business expensive for every single one of them... except themselves (the elite) and their $300k+ salaries

I think there’s going to be a lot of maids finding out the real minimum wage is actually zero.

I could’ve sworn this was posted in this thread but didn’t see it…

IMO, they knew it would fail but it was never about success, it was all about the free obama government billions available for "green energy", for NRG it was about the higher price they could charge for the natural gas sales to power it.

For Google, it was a cheap experiment mostly on the government's dime to see if enough "green energy" could be generated and if it would scale based on need for their massive data centers.

When the project was announced, I followed it and read all kinds of documents as they were presented primarily to see how impact studies were being handled since the war on fossil fuel was being escalated with obama.

Impact studies were pushed thru with pseudo concern about the desert tortoise and other wildlife, water sources ... environmentalists sued, settled and the project pushed thru.

Couple of items for anyone interested - there are many, many of these at the state level as well. The potential of free money makes all concerns about the environment go away.

Well, it's never about concern, it's always 100% about how much money gets into the hands of those declaring themselves the caretakers or as I prefer, the hostage holder.

ok, Sunday morning rant cleansing ahhhhhh

On our way to see our daughter in Montana. Took H97 to the Colombia River gorge and then East from there. Once you get close you start seing thousands of windmills. The short cut we take bypasses most of them though.

Dorris is my favorite little town up that way. I could live there if it was in Jefferson.

Driving by a large area, maybe 1/2 mile or more of these structures. Seems a bunch of solar panels are going to be installed…

Energy production higher priority than food production evidently. 1,000 acres of farm land North of Shreveport is the new home of an $83M installation of 200,000 solar panels that came online earlier this year.
